SOFT TISSUE
Scar tissue & adhesions
Tightness or restricted movement following injury or surgery.
Understanding tightness after injury or surgery
Scar tissue is part of normal healing. Some people notice pulling, sensitivity or restricted movement around a healed injury or surgical site. These symptoms do not by themselves establish that adhesions are the cause.
What you might notice
- Pulling around a healed scar
- Sensitivity or tenderness
- Movement that feels restricted
A conversation about your needs.
Tell us the procedure or injury date and your surgeon’s advice. Recent surgery, wound healing and any restrictions must be reviewed before considering treatment.
What your visit looks like
Only an appropriately healed area with suitable clearance should be considered. We agree on access and a comfortable position, and stop if needed.
We bring the equipment to you. A first visit reserves 30 minutes for consultation and treatment; follow-ups reserve 20 minutes.
Your next steps
We do not promise to break down adhesions or treat a fresh surgical wound. Your treating clinician’s guidance comes first.
Suitability and results vary. This technician-provided service does not replace medical diagnosis or a rehabilitation plan.
